I
definitely really appreciated all of the feedback that everyone provided me
with on my first Elevator Pitch. One classmate commented on how I needed to
change my background in order for it to look more professional, and I
completely agree with his suggestion. I understand how the background of a
pitch like this can really affect the overall message that is being sent and
can even distract the viewers. Also, another classmate suggested that
I change the name of my company in order to attract a wider array of customers,
and I have never even thought to do that. I think she made a great point, and
I’ve decided to change the name of my company to Street Smart instead of Smart
Scoot. Overall, I think my classmates generally supported my idea and the company that I have created. All of the comments were supportive, and I really took everything that
was mentioned into consideration when making my second Elevator Pitch.
Great opportunity. The message was clear, precise, and quick. All the makings of a great pitch. Good job.
ReplyDeleteThe only thing I could see is that you did tend to look away form the camera a couple of times. It made you seem nervous. Other than that it was awesome.
Good luck with your semester,

Congrats on completing your second pitch, it was a very tough assignment in my opinion. I think your background is very professional a lot better than my dorm room walls. I also like how you are taking our comments into account, thats one of the most important things to consider. With each others opinions, we are able to learn from another aspiring entrepreneur what we can improve on.

Wallace, you did a great job on completing this assignment. I agree with Mitchel this assignment was tough for many of us but you did great. I did got a little confused at the beginning, when I was trying to understand the product you were offering but at the end everything was clear. Good luck on this entrepreneur adventure.

Wallace, I'm trying to understand more about your startup. Is your service just a store front for custom painted motorcycle helmets, or is there something novel about the delivery method? How will you compete with established helmet companies like Icon or Scorpion that offer helmets in every color and graphic style available?
