Elevator Pitch No. 3

Throughout having to record these pitches, I have gotten a lot of really helpful feedback. After the second Elevator Pitch video, I received a few really good tips. One classmate suggested that I may be looking away from the camera too much, and it may make me seem nervous or unsure of myself. Another student mentioned that I needed to be more clear about what I am selling right from the beginning of the pitch. Finally, one student questioned how I stand out in comparison to other helmet companies. All of these comments really helped me create this elevator pitch, and I really appreciated it.
Overall, I changed my eye contact throughout the video to be more focused on the camera. I did not look away too much because I did not want it to seem like I was nervous or fidgety. Also, I tried to be very clear from the beginning about what I was selling to my customers. Finally, I mentioned how our scooter helmets are customizable in regards to the fit and shape, not simply the colors or graphics. This is what different my helmets from other companies' products.

  1. Hey Wallace!
I loved this elevator pitch so much and think you did a really great job! You seemed very relaxed and calm but also very confident! I really appreciated how you were able to ask rhetorical questions so that your video viewers could become engaged and interested in the product as you continued. Also it was very wise that you mention one cool feature that separates you from the competition, along with your company's priorities. 2. Hi Wallace!
After watching this pitch, though I don't even own a scooter or motorcycle, I found myself wanting one of your helmets because every helmet I've ever tried on was extremely uncomfortable. I think you're targeting the right group of people and I definitely think that you have a reasonable goal that won't cost you too much financially. I think the locking aspect is just the cherry on top, and I think you'll do very well with these! 3. Hey Wallace,
Great pitch it really addressed question potential customers may have about the product. Personally I hate scooters because they mix the danger riding a motorcycle without giving you the cool look or fun. My criticism will be separate from my bias though, for one Helmets don't sell well in Florida because of the heat, two costs to make helmets safe and look good make them expensive, and lastly your company should also make either bike helmets or other protective gear.
